Happy Birthday- Spice Market collection
Hello all,
I made a card last night using one of my new favorite stamps from the Hero Arts and Basic Grey collection Spice Market. It is the Large Petal Background. I think it is absolutely beautiful. I also tried using pigment ink again; it's been a long time.
I first stamped the image in Color Box Frost White pigment ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder. Then I colored in the image with three Tim Holtz Distress markers- weathered wood, dried marigold and worn lipstick. I cut a strip of vellum and stamped Happy Birthday from Hero Arts Fancy Basics set in Versamark and heat set with Zing white embossing powder. I attached the vellum in the back of the stamped panel and adhered it to a card base of the same Desert Storm card stock.
This was such a fun card to make. The main stamped image is beautiful and is relaxing to color in. I have a feeling I will be using this stamp on a regular basis. Hope you enjoy!
I am also adding this card to the Hero Arts' Birthday Challenge - Anything Goes. If you haven't already seen the beautiful Spice Market collection, I suggest you check it out. Until next time…..
Here are the products I used. Please let me know if you have any questions; I will try to promptly answer them.
